Building a home from the ground up is more than a project - it's your story, unfolding. At CS Bank, we provide the financing and support to guide you from breaking ground to moving in. Whether you're envisioning a customer ranch model or a modern masterpiece, we structure your loan to adapt to your build and budget.

How It Works

Building a home doesn't have to feel complicated. With CS Bank, you get a clear process, guided support, and a financing structure designed to move with your build, every step of the way.

Step 1: Partner with Your Builder

Before financing begins, you'll choose your builder, finalize your home plans, and get an estimated cost. We'll work with you to make sure the financial side aligns with your vision and timeline.

Step 2: Secure Your Construction Loan

Once your plans are set, we'll help you choose the right construction loan option - whether it's a construction-to-permanent loan that automatically converts into a mortgage once your home is complete, or a short-term construction-only loan if you plan to secure permanent financing later.

Step 3: Draws During Construction

Funds are disbursed in phases, called "draws", as construction progresses. This keeps the build moving forward while protecting your budget and timeline. Our local lenders and construction loan team work closely with you and your builder to make sure each phase is approved, inspected, and funded on time.

Step 4: Move-In and Mortgage

If you've selected a construction-to-permanent loan, your financing seamlessly transitions into a traditional mortgage once the home is finished - no second closing or extra paperwork. You move in with peace of mind, knowing your financing is already taken care of.
